Robb King II
Robb has over thirty years of franchising and team building experience in the Insurance Restoration industry. He was the former COO of Paul Davis before founding Vantage Consulting in 2017. During his tenure at Paul Davis, Robb helped grow the company from $235M to one of the largest full-service restoration firms in the world. Robb started his service business life in a Paul Davis franchise. He became one of the top 10 sales producers in the country and then General Manager of one of the most successful operations in the country. He joined the Franchisor in the early 90’s to create new training and support programs to improve franchisee performance. He designed and built the company’s first freestanding training facility and flood house which became a model for others in the industry. This was followed by a 20,000 SF training and operations center known as Paul Davis University. In the early 2000’s he introduced a revolutionary new drying system to the Franchise Network and launched training programs which repositioned the Franchise Network as the “brand of choice” for cutting edge professional water mitigation services. This initiative was further supported when Robb worked with a technology partner to create a new field-based web application to document and analyze the drying process of a structure. This software is now the leader in the market and is the preferred choice of insurance companies and restoration professionals. By 2010 Robb created a new residential remodeling concept and a boutique franchise concept in the emergency services space. The remodeling business was named the largest remodeling company in the US by Qualified Remodeler Magazine for seven years in a row. The company has been the focus of feature articles in industry publications and has won many design awards across the country. The emergency service business grew to over 120 operations within three years and was recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the best new franchise concepts, best home-based business franchise concepts and one of the top 50 fastest growing Franchise concepts in the U.S. Robb has consulted with industry manufacturers such as Therma-Stor and The Clorox Company and helped foreign based franchise systems become established in the United States. He has been an advisor to multiple PE firms on the restoration space and served on the board for SoundCore’s portfolio company, American Restoration. He served on the Contractors advisory board in Sarasota, FL, the advisory board for Xactimate software, advisory board for Sprint Communications and holds multiple industry and franchise certifications. Robb majored in Architecture and Engineering at the University of South Florida.
