Danny New is an Associate on the Origination Team at Soundcore, where he is primarily responsible for supporting the Partners in developing investment theses for the fund and building relationships with business owners. Prior to joining Soundcore, Mr. New was a Sales Associate at Hedgeye Risk Management, an equity research firm, where he held roles on both the institutional and middle market sales teams. Before beginning his career in finance, Mr. New spent five years as a professional athlete, competing in the American Hockey League (AHL), and various other professional leagues in North America and Europe. Mr. New holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Providence College, where he served as Captain of the Men’s NCAA Division I Ice Hockey team in his senior year.
